April showers bring May flowers as well as our MRS. APRIL!! We are excited to announce that April’s #wbbride of the month is our stunning bride, Jessica Wickizer Moeder! Her fabulous spring wedding at Arlington Hall was simply a dream and after a year of marriage in the books, we couldn’t wait to catch up with her and talk all things Wickizer/Moeder wedding day!

Warren Barrón Bridal: Let’s start from the beginning, how did Chris pop the question??
Jessica: Chris proposed in our living room. We had scheduled to go to a nice dinner date that evening so I didn't think anything of it when I came into the room and saw him in a suit. I asked him to zip up the back of my dress, and when I turned around he was on one knee. It was perfect for us - committing to each other in the same room where we had spent most of our evenings together. Then we had champagne and molten chocolate cake at Eddie V's, a favorite for us!
Warren Barrón Bridal: What inspired you most for your simply chic wedding?
Jessica: I can't really name one thing that inspired us, but we drew a lot of the feel for the wedding from our venue, Arlington Hall at Oak Lawn Park. We wanted something classic but not too fussy - and a ton of fun! This was our chance to celebrate our love with friends and family.
Warren Barrón Bridal: There are so many different components to planning a wedding and I know some can be stressful but what was your FAVORITE part of the wedding planning process?
Jessica: Spending time together as a family. We really used the wedding planning process as a time to celebrate. My in-laws traveled in from Kansas for all of the big decisions, like choosing a venue and tasting menu options. It was a ton of family fun!
Warren Barrón Bridal: Obviously our favorite question to ask! Why did you chose your gown and what was your favorite part about it?
Jessica: I have always gravitated toward simplicity so I knew I didn't want much embellishment, but it had to be elegant. And I knew I wanted a fitted silhouette, but it couldn't be too constricting. I was basically Goldielocks picking porridge! I spent hours looking online and in magazines, but nothing caught my eye. Thankfully, I found my dress the moment I sat down at Warren Barron. I picked up the book on the table, turned right to my dress and asked it it was available. It was the first dress I tried on, and I knew it was the one from the beginning! I love how it was classic and modern at the same time with a flattering shape that still gave me room to dance! The bow was my favorite part! It was the perfect touch!
No muss no fuss! Just like the gown she chose, Jessica was simply elegant with an ease about her that made her the perfect bride for WB and the perfect bride to be our Mrs. April! Cheers girl! We hope this first year of marriage was a dream for you and Chris and are so excited to have been a small part of this big step in your life!
